Every vehicle has a competitor and it’s super important that we know what makes one better than the other. We wanted to take a closer look at the 2018 Honda CR-V and its competitors, the RAV4 and Escape. At John Eagle Honda we want our customers to know what they’re getting into before they purchase anything. This is why we like to lay it all out there for you to investigate yourself.
There isn’t much of a difference when it comes to the price of these vehicles, they waver by about $10. We really want to take a look at the features and benefits that this vehicle offers and not just the cost. We want to look at the driving experience, safety, and comfort.
Overall, the critics said that the Honda CR-V had a wonderful interior, offered a smooth ride, and high-quality materials. They also loved the crash test safety scores that this vehicle received. The Toyota RAV-4 was liked for its large cargo space and the fact that it came with a lot of standard safety features, but that was it. The Ford Escape had a good cargo space, good safety ratings, and sporty driving style. However, they really disliked the low fuel economy for the Escape. It appears that the Escape had average ratings while the Honda CR-V went above and beyond for the critics.
